shoot-off there will be 40 seconds.
Robin Round:
Archers will be devided into groups according
to 18 Meter Round results. Each group consists of 6 archers. So every archer
gets to shoot 5 matches. There are 2 groups in compound division and 3 groups
in recurve division. Matches are shot with new set system (see below).
Compound groups will shoot on Saturday
afternoon:

New FITA set system:
Starting from 1st April 2010 will be used Set System for Elimination Round.
We will use Set System with Robin Round.
More detailed explanations about the new system is available here.
SHORTLY: We will use 3-arrows per end. The winner of an end gets 2 points, in
case of a tie both get 1 point and loser gets 0 points. That means maximum of 5
ends per match. In case 1 archer wins first, second and third end, the points
will be 6:0 and no need for fourth and fifth end. In case there is a tie 5:5
after fifth end, then we will use a 1-arrow shoot-off. Both archers shoot 1
arrow in their middle target and the closest to the center is the winner.
Final matches:
For recurve the final match will take place on Sunday at 16.30. The match
will be separately for men and for women. The best male and best female archer
from each group will get the pass to shoot the final match. It will NOT be Set
System - it will be regular 12-arrow match and 3 archers will be ranked
according to the score.
For compound the final match will take place on Saturday at 20.00. The match
will be separately for men and for women. The best male and best female archer
from both group will shoot in the final match for 1st and 2nd place. The second
best male and second best female archer from both group will shoot in the final
match for 3rd and 4th place. It will NOT be Set System - it will be regular
12-arrow match between 2 archers.
